Lungu donates 160 Bags of Cement

The Partners in Mission Works, in collaboration with Kalumbila multi-purpose Cooperative Society Limited has donated 160 bags of cement to a retired clergy and a youth organisation.

The cement being distributed is part of the 1,000 bags that were donated by President Edgar Lungu who is Partners in Mission Works National Patron.

Retired Reformed Church in Zambia Pastor, Franklin Kaira of Katuba area who received 80 bags of cement, has since thanked President Lungu for the gesture.

And Kalumbila multi-purpose Cooperative Society Limited Chairman General Chilekwa Mambwe who received 80-bags of cement to complete chicken runs and a guest house under construction in Ibex hill for the youths thanked the President for the donation.

He said many youths will be empowered at the center.

Speaking during the donation, Partners in Mission President, Reverend Serga Changa said the cement being donated is meant to help complete the house of retired Pastor Kaira which is at roof level, as well as the project under Kalumbila Cooperative.

Meanwhile, Zambia Congress of Trade Unions Secretary General Cosmas Mukuka, who was guest of honour at the event, said more retired clergy men and women will benefit from the Association.
