Luapula Energy Conference Postponed

April 7, 2020April 7, 20205Luapula Provincial Administration has postponed indefinitely the Luapula Energy Conference that was scheduled to take place from 11 to 13 June 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.Speaking at a media briefing in Mansa today, Luapula Province Minister Nickson Chilangwa says until the COVID-19 is put under control, it will not be possible for the province to have the energy conference in 2020.Mr. Chilangwa said though this has been a tough decision for the provincial administration to make, it is necessary for the betterment of the province .He says members should be strong and adhere to the laid down guidelines being given by the ministry of health to prevent the COVID-19 from spreading.He has emphasised the need for all people to observe social distancing and not move around aimlessly.
