LIGHTNING KILLS 5 FAMILY MEMBERS

(ZANIS) Five members of a family have died after being struck by lightning in Kabwe, Central province.

The incident happened in wellbroad area, on Monday, December 19, 2022, around 21 hours, during a heavy downpour.

Central Province Police Commanding Officer, DAVID MUKUKA has confirmed the incident to ZANIS in a telephone interview .

Mr MUKUKA has identified the deceased as AUBREY KANYIMBO, aged 38, and his wife, MARY BANDA, aged 36.

Others members include the couple’s children identified as BRENDA KANYIMBO, aged 11, ELISHA KANYIMBO, aged 6, and MAUREEN KANYIMBO, aged 2.
