Lewis Macha and the list of players training with Nakambala Leopards

The Zambia Super League mid-season transfer window is in full swing and clubs are busy trying to reinforce their squads.

Mazabuka based outfit Nakambala Leopards has not been left out as a number of players are training with them in the view of sealing deals to reinforce the Sweet Boys’ squad.

The ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal that six players are currently training with the Mazabuka based outfit.

The list of players training at Nakambala Stadium is led by former Kaizer Chiefs striker Lewis Macha who has been a free agent since he mutually separated with Zesco United in October last year.

Former Power Dynamos and Nkana defensive midfielder Richard Kasonde is another player who is training with the Albert Mphande tutored outfit. Kasonde has been a free agent since being released by Zanaco in July last year.

Others are Mathews Njobvu, Mayunga Mamikima, Makasa mufwaya and Red Arrows player Gift Lukwesa who spent the transitional league season on loan at Circuit City.

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Nakambala has written to Nkana over loan deals for Moses Mapulanga and Festus Mbewe however the ZamFoot Crew also understands that Festus Mbewe is close to sealing a move to Green Eagles.
