Lameck Banda inspire Maccabi Petah Tikva to win at Ashdod

Lameck Banda inspired Maccabi Petah Tikva to victory over Ashdod in the Israeli league on Sunday.

The 21 year old scored and assisted in a seven goal thriller between the two rival clubs.

Maccabi Petah Tikva won 4-3 in what could be one of the games of the season.

This was Banda’s seventh league goal of the season and nine in total in all competitions in what is turning out to be a productive season.

Last week, the winger was also on target for his club.

Banda is on loan from Russian side Arsenal Tula.

The aggressive winger is pushing for a Chipolopolo place as coach Aljosa Asanovic is expected to name his squad for the friendly matches.

Zambia will play Guinea and South Africa in Paris, France this month.
