Klings Kangwa masterpiece as midfielder sets up two goals

Chipolopolo midfielder, Klings Kangwa was at his brilliant best on Monday afternoon as he set up two goals helping Arsenal Tula to a 3-1 win over Lokomotiv Moscow in a week 16 Russian Premier League encounter played at Stadion Arsenal.

The former Buildcon player partnered Ayaz Guliev and Georgi Kostadinov in the middle of the park while Compatriot Evans Kangwa started on the left-wing supporting Evgeni Markov who was a lone striker Upfront.

Kangwa who dominated the midfield set up Daniil Khlusevich for the opener just seventeen minutes into the match with a long-range beautiful pass from the center circle picking him up at the edge of the box and Khlusevich made no mistake slotting home from close range.

In the 40th minute, Kangwa was again at the center of it after taking a short corner with Evans Kangwa, Klings sent in a well-timed cross to find Evgeni Markov who rose high to send the ball past Daniil Khudyakov in the Lokomotiv goalkeeper goal to double the hosts lead.

In the second stanza, they only needed 13 minutes to extend their lead Evgeni Markov completed his brace after being set up by Khlusevich. Pablo pulled one back for Lokomotiv but it was not enough to turn the tables, 3-1 Tula won the match.

Klings’ display received the highest rating on the data website Sofascore (8.9). Evans Kangwa put in an impressive full shift.
