Klings Kangwa joins Serbian top side, Red Star Belgrade

Zambian midfielder Klings Kangwa has signed officially signed for Red Star Belgrade of a Serbia the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

The Zambian international has penned a 4 year contract with Red Star Belgrade ( FK Crvena Zvezda) from Russian outfit, Arsenal Tula.

Red Star and the Russian Gunners signed a full transfer agreement for the Happy Hearts product.

The deal was facilitated by international agents Nir Karin and Fred Bwalya.

KKangwa is eager to meet his new teammates and get to play in the 53,000 capacity, Rajko Mitic Stadium.

“I’m very happy to join the red army of Red Star Belgrade. I can’t wait to play in the home stadium in front of the great fans and compete in the European cups and Serbian league.

I want to thank Arsenal Tula, my home club for the last 3 years and tell them thanks for improving me as a person and a footballer,” he said.

“I want to thank Evans Kangwa for helping me in Russia all these years.

I want to thank my agents Karin Nir and Fred Bwalya for believing in me from my early days in Zambian football . I’m happy they’re with me on this journey .

His agent, Karin believes the Zambian midfield dynamo has made great progress as football player.

Kangwa was an important player for Arsenal and was yesterday named as the club’s player of the season.

Kangwa is currently in camp with the Chipolopolo Boys who will face Ivory Coast on Friday before hosting Comoros four days later in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
