KK’S BODY HEADS FOR MONGU

The body of First President KENNETH KAUNDA is this morning being flown to Mongu – Western province.

This is part of the tour of the ten provinces to enable people pay their last respects ahead of burial on July 7.

Vice President INONGE WINA earlier left for Mongu this morning to receive the body of Dr KAUNDA who ruled Zambia for 27 years, from 1964 to 1991.

Yesterday, thousands of Choma residents in Southern province lined up the streets to pay last respects to Dr. KAUNDA who died on June 17 at the age of 97.
