KITWE TO GRADE FOOD SELLERS

The Kitwe City Council has embarked on an exercise to grade businesses that are involved in the selling of Food.

Council Director of Public Health RODNEY BANDA says the grades obtained by a particular business will be displayed at the premises for the public to see.

Mr. BANDA told ZNBC News that the idea is to allow the General Public to easily identify which shops are compliant and which ones are NOT.

Meanwhile, Mr. BANDA has expressed happiness with a number of restaurants that are operating within the City.

He said following an inspection it was discovered that most of them are adhering to the health regulation.
