KITWE RESIDENT TURN UP FOR INAUGURATION

By Paul Shalala

Hundreds of Kitwe residents have left for Lusaka to attend President-Elect HAKAINDE HICHILEMA’S inauguration ceremony at the National Heroes Stadium tomorrow.

A check by a ZNBC News crew at the Main Bus Station in Kitwe this morning found UPND sympathizers boarding buses destined for Lusaka.

Some of those travelling are clad in UPND regalia.

Some call boys spoken to said hundreds of people have been boarding buses since yesterday to attend the inauguration ceremony.

And billboards congratulating President-Elect HICHILEMA’s election have sprung up across the Copperbelt.

G RUTHERFORD Outdoor Advertising Company has erected billboards on major highways in Kitwe, Ndola and other towns.

Meanwhile, a 61-year-old disabled man of Kitwe is looking forward to inclusive leadership.

ANDREW MALENGA, who is confined to a wheelchair, is hopeful that disability issues will be attended when Mr. HICHILEMA takes over the reins of power.
