KASANDA PROMISES ACCESS TO EDUCATION

Chief Government Spokesperson CHUSHI KASANDA says the New Dawn administration will ensure access to education and a conducive learning environment is attained.

Ms. KASANDA says President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA as part of his pronouncements wants access to education to become a reality and this is why the Constituency Development Fund – CDF has been tremendously increased.

She explains that CDF has an allocation to respond to disasters and emergencies such as blown off roofs for schools so that learning is not disrupted.

Speaking when she checked on Mulungushi West Primary School in Chisamba, which had its roof blown off , Ms KASANDA said government wants to ensure situations where pupils are learning under trees after roofs are blown off becomes a thing of the past.

Ms. KASANDA who is also Information and Media Minister urged members of Parliament to utilize CDF to respond to disasters.
