Kanoute jets in for coaching clinics at Celtic

Former Mali striker turned football agent Fredric Kanoute has arrived in Lusaka.

The former West Ham and Seville striker arrived on Friday and is expected to watch Kafue Celtic matches.

Kanoute’s 12 management has Zambian duo Enock Mwepu and Patson Daka as some of their clients.

The French-born Malian legend is expected to exchange notes with Kafue Celtic coach Joel Bwalya.

While Celtic are away to Nkana on Saturday, Kanoute might be at Lusaka’s OYDC watching Young Crocs against Zammsa in a fourth tier match.

Kafue Celtic owner Lee Kawanu is expected to link with Kanoute either in Ndola or Lusaka

In addition to the two England based, Kanoute also brokered Mwepu’s young brother Francisco’s move to Austrian side SK Stum Graz.

Francisco, a former Zambia Under-20 striker is currently recovering from a long term injury.

Kafue Celtic winger Peter Chikola is also at Stum Graz attending trials.
