Kamanga Salutes Copper Queens

FAZ says the Copper Queens have reaffirmed their status as an African powerhouse, by getting into the final round of qualifiers for the 2024 Olympics.

Association President, ANDREW KAMANGA has since congratulated the team, after beating Ghana 4-3 on aggregate.

KAMANGA has described the qualification as another milestone, which takes the team closer to back-to-back Olympic qualification.

He has explained that the match against Ghana was never going to be an easy one but FAZ is happy with the win and  is already thinking about the next round, where they play against Morocco.

This is according to a statement availed to ZNBC sports by FAZ Communications Manager, SYDNEY MUNGALA.
