KAMANGA GOES FOR FIFA EXCO SEAT

(FAZ) Football Association of Zambia President Andrew Kamanga has filed his nomination for the March 2021 FIFA Elections.

Kamanga will be vying for executive committee members for the English-speaking block at the World Football Governing Body-FIFA.

The FAZ President has entered the race with six other candidates who are    all expected to undergo a sieving process that includes an integrity test.

Other aspiring candidates for the English block are from Malawi, Nigeria, Gambia, Kenya, and Tanzania with the final elections set for March 2021 in Morocco

And Kamanga says his decision to contest for the election has been endorsed by Government and the FAZ Executive Committee.

He says it is good that the country will be competing at an international level.

Kamanga says his credentials as a member of the of the FIFA Audit and Compliance Committee, COSAFA Finance Committee and a member of the African Nations Championship -CHAN- organizing committee will add value to the FIFA executive committee.

Kamanga who is also a Chartered Accountant, Energy consultant and business mogul says his professional credentials will help add value to the FIFA set up.
