KALUNGA ASSURES MEDIA HOUSES

Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary KENNEDY KALUNGA has assured media houses in Kitwe that Government is ready to address some of the challenges they are facing.

Mr. KALUNGA says the new dawn administration is receiving a lot of good will from cooperating partners who want to help.

He has challenged media houses to present proposals to government pertaining to their challenges.

Mr. KALUNGA was speaking in Kitwe when he visited ZNBC and Zambia Daily Mail offices as part of his continued tour of media houses on the Copperbelt.

He said government will start resolving some challenges that media houses are facing away from the 2022 National budget but with support from cooperating partners.

And ZNBC Acting Regional Director CHIMUKA NG’ANDU said the Northern region is in need of vehicles to help in attending to operational challenges in its regions.

Meanwhile, Zambia Daily Marketing Executive STANLEY BWALYA informed the minister that the institution needs vehicles to run effectively.

Mr. BWALYA said at the moment, papers arrive late on the streets, thereby affecting the sales.
