“KALABA HAS NOT BEEN REPORTED TO DEC”

The Democratic Party -DP- has refuted assertions that party leader HARRY KALABA has been reported to the Drug Enforcement Commission -DEC- by its members.

DP- Deputy National Secretary VINCENT CHINTU says the reports are unfounded as those who purportedly took Mr. KALABA to DEC concerning the source of money used during the 2021 General Election are suspended officials.

Mr. CHINTU has told ZNBC News that those that are pushing for the exit of Mr. KALABA are suspended part officials who should not be entertained by the media.

Last week, Mr Kalaba was reported to have been expelled by the party’s vice President  JUDITH KABEMBA who the party says is suspended.
