KAJOBA AND 4 PERMANENT SECRETARIES FIRED
President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has relieved Inspector General of Police LEMMY KAJOBA of his duties.
And, President HICHILEMA has since appointed GRAPHEL MUSAMBA as the new Inspector General of Police.
President HICHILEMA has also relieved Deputy Inspector of Police in charge of Administration DORIS NAYAME of her duties, awaiting re-deployment and has since appointed ALITA MBAHWE Former DEC Commissioner as Deputy Inspector General of Police Administration.
The President has transferred YVONNE MPUNDU, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises to the Ministry of Agriculture as permanent Secretary, Administration.
Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA has terminated the contracts of four permanent secretaries, WISDOM BWALYA, PERPETUAL MPHANDE CHUULU, DANNY MFUNE and JOHN MSIMUKO.
The President has also transferred Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Permanent Secretary in-charge of Administration CHEMBO MBULA to Cabinet Office as Permanent Secretary Special Duties, while Mrs. CHILUFYA DARKO as Permanent Secretary Cabinet Office, Professor LACKSON KASONKA Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health will be re-deployed.
President HICHILEMA has thanked all former Senior Government Officials who have been relieved of their duties for their individual contribution to the nation and wished them well in their future endeavors.
MEANWHILE, President HICHILEMA has appointed EIGHT New Permanent Secretaries, with Dr HAPENGA KABETA as Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development.
Others appointed are NAOMI TETAMASHIMBA as Permanent Secretary Special duties at Cabinet Office, HOPE SITUMBEKO PS Administration Ministry of Foreign Affairs, LILLIAN BWALYA Permanent Secretary Administration Commerce and Industry, and Ms SUBETA MUTELO as Permanent Secretary Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises.
CHRISTOPHER SIMOONGA is PS Administration at Ministry of Health, Professor ALBERT MALAMA Permanent Secretary Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development, and Dr DOUTY CHIBAMBA Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment.
