K2m Empowerment Fund Given Out in Chingola

Over two million Kwacha has been given out in the form of empowerment grants to about 90 cooperatives in Chingola Constituency on the Copperbelt as a component of the 2023 Constituency Development Funds -CDF.

Chingola Member of Parliament CHIPOKA MULENGA has advised beneficiaries of the grants to develop a business mindset for them to fully benefit from CDF.

Mr MULENGA says the government wants to create wealth in communities by providing easy and cheaper finance to small businesses in Zambia through the constituency development fund.

And Chingola Mayor JOHNSON KANG’OMBE has described the grants given to cooperatives as a game changer.

Mr KANG’OMBE has urged residents of Chingola to appreciate President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA who is doing a commendable job at making the lives of Zambians easier and better.

And the beneficiaries thanked the Government for the funds.
