K26M RECOVERED

The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Arts has recovered over 26 Million Kwacha from the previous youth empowerment programmes.

Youth, Sports and Arts Minister ELVIS NKANDU says he took time to sensitize and interact with the beneficiaries and is optimistic that a good number will finish paying back.

Mr. NKANDU told ZNBC News that the effects of COVID-19 pandemic affected the beneficiaries and government gave them more to time stabilize their businesses before they could start paying back.

He has encouraged Zambians to take advantage of other empowerment schemes under his Ministry because resources are readily available.
