IMENDA: HH DIDN’T REFER TO FORMER PRESIDENTS AS CLIQUE OF THIEVES

United Party for National Development -UPND Deputy Chairperson GERTRUDE IMENDA has warned that individuals dragging former Presidents in the debates concerning the term ” Clique of thieves” are bent on dividing the nation.

And Mrs. IMENDA has dismissed sentiments that President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA referred to his predecessors as a clique of thieves.

She says according to the dictionary, the term “Clique” refers to a small group of individuals with a vested interest at the expense of the majority.

Mrs. IMENDA said this in a walk in interview with ZNBC News in LUSAKA.

She advised ZAMBIANS to take interest in understanding certain English words before joining debates over particular subjects.
