HR Institute, Ministry of Labour to Probe Recruitment process in Public sector

The Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management has initiated joint investigations with the Ministry of Labour into corruption allegations in the public-sector recruitment process.

This follows allegations that people pay 25,000 Kwacha to be employed in the civil and public service.

The Institute says investigations in two of the cases are almost concluded and that details of the findings will be provided to the nation at an appropriate time.

Institute President KELVIN SHAMIZHINGA revealed this on the sidelines of a two-day workshop dubbed ‘Mindset Change for Human Resource Personnel’ being held in Kitwe.
