HH pledges to leverage on investments, trade at COP 28

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has left for Dubai to attend the COP 28 at the invitation of President of the United Arab Emirates ,Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
And , President HICHILEMA says he will join other world leaders to advance sustainable development,  leverage new technologies, and also mobilise resources for agreed actions in order to protect countries and the environment.
While there,The President says he  will attend the World Climate Action Summit, G77 and China Leaders’ Summit among other high-level roundtable meetings.
On the margins of COP28, President HICHILEMA  says he will further hold strategic bilateral engagements centered on energy, agriculture, trade, technology transfer, tourism and infrastructure development.
The President says he will also use this occasion to continue the  debt resolution conversations to resolve the economic challenges the country is  currently facing.
Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA yesterday  held a monthly Presidential Stock Take with the Presidential Delivery Unit and respective government ministries specifically focusing on progress in Health, Mining, and Agriculture.
President HICHILEMA says the Presidential Stock Take is a routine performance management system that has been introduced .
He says the system tracks the progress being made by ministries that are now formerly incorporated in the ministries and being rolled out across government to ensure more effective delivery to the people of Zambia.
