HH IN KALUMBILA TO LAUNCH NICKEL MINE

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is today expected to launch Africa’s largest Nickel Mine in Kalumbila district in the Northwestern province.

The 250-million dollars mine is expected to create about 700 jobs.

The plane carrying the Head of State touched down at Kalumbila Airport at 10:05 hours.

President HICHILEMA was welcome by North Western Province Minister ROBERT LIHEFU and other senior government officials.

The Head of State is accompanied by Lands and Natural Resources Minister ELIJAH MUCHIMA and other senior government officials.
