HH in Eastern Province visit

President Hakainde Hichilema is Friday expected in Eastern Province for a 2-day working visit.

Eastern Province Minister, Peter Phiri has confirmed this to ZANIS in Chipata .

The Minister says President Hichilema is expected to inspect the extent of the flood situation in Mambwe district and will also meet chiefs.

He said the President will then fly to Lusangazi district to check on washed away bridges before proceeding to Chipata for a night stop.

On Saturday, President Hichilema will be the guest of honor at the consecration of Catholic Church bishop Musipu Phiri.
