HH HOLD BILATERAL TALKS

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has held bilateral talks with Scotland’s First Minister NICOLA STURGEON in Glasgow, Scotland.

The President says the talks were centered on Climate Justice, the historical partnership between the two countries, as well as trade and investment opportunities in Zambia.

President HICHILEMA says the meeting will lead to further productive engagement between the two countries.

Both Foreign Affairs Minister STANLEY KAKUBO and Green Economy and Environment Minister COLLINS NZOVU also shared their work as part of the wide ranging discussions.

With over a century and a half of partnership, President HICHILEMA said it was humbling to be the first sitting Zambian President to be visiting Scotland.

President HICHILEMA hoped that the meeting will lead to further productive engagement between ZAMBIA and SCOTLAND.

He further thanked the hosts in Glasgow, for the hospitality and hoped to reciprocate soon.

President HICHILEMA said Zambia is a blessed country and that working together with partners like Scotland, the Country will achieve a lot.
