HH Dates Malawi Tuesday

Brian Mwale-President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is on Tuesday expected in Malawi.

President HICHILEMA says the trip is part of the “President-to-President” diplomacy which has been the established tradition for new heads of state.

The President says Zambia and Malawi share common values, culture and a rich history.

He says the two heads of state will discuss trade and matters of mutual interest.

President HICHILEMA adds that opening up trade routes is vital as it will enable Zambians to sell their products.

He further notes that this creates employment and earns the country foreign exchange which will help in economic stability.

The President says he takes seriously his role of chief diplomat for Zambia hence exploring opportunities for Zambians.

He has pledged continuation of promoting economic diplomacy with neighbouring countries.

This is according to a Facebook post on the President’s page monitored by ZNBC News.
