HH, CHAKWERA HOLD TALKS

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has held bilateral talks with his Malawian counterpart LAZAROUS CHAKWERA.

The meeting was held at the KAMUZU Palace in Lilongwe.

Earlier, the two leaders exchanged gifts and President HICHILEMA signed in the visitors’ book at the Palace.

And President HICHILEMA who is in Malawi for a day’s visit said by visiting regional counterparts, Government is optimistic that the trip will yield results for mutual benefit.

The President said trade and investment opportunities in the region remain key.

He said Zambia and Malawi have long standing shared historical values which must be harnessed and celebrated.
