Praise has continued to be showered on Zambia national team star forward Patson Daka following his incredible last week.

Leicester City boss Brenden Rogers’ was full of praise for the Zambian striker concerning his quick adaption to the Foxes way of life and football.

Rogers believes the fine form of Daka, Kelechi Iheanacho, and Jamie Vardy puts him and his team in a great position upfront. Rogers was speaking ahead of the Foxes match at Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday.

“Patson was always one that we wanted to give that little bit of time to adapt to our way of working, our training, the league, and day in, day out, you see him become accustomed to that,” he said.

“Of course, he’s had an amazing week. He scored his first Premier League goal, the first Zambian player to score in the Premier League, and then to score four goals, it was an incredible individual achievement.”

“We’re in a great position in that part of the field, whatever the combination is and however we want to work it. All three players are in great form and are in a great place. We have so many games, you can’t tie just one or two players down to the position,” he added.

Daka opened his Premier League goal account against Manchester United last weekend before following it up with a spectacular performance against Spartak Moscow in the UEFA Europa League which saw him score four goals including a record-breaking nine-minute hat-trick.

The 2017 CAF young player of the year and his City teammates will next be in action against Brentford on Sunday afternoon, with the game due to kick off at 3 pm.
