Hellen Mubanga and Rachel Nachula named in Zaragoza matchday squad

Zambian duo of strikers Hellen Mubanga and Rachel Nachula have been named in the matchday squad for Zaragoza CFF ahead of their opening match of the 2020/2021 Spanish Segunda División Femenina season.

Zaragoza will host CA Osasuna at their home ground, the Estadio Pedro Sancho as they look to start their quest for promotion to the Spanish Primera División Femenina.

Nachula joined the Spanish side after a stellar performance with the Zambia Women’s national team helping them to silver at COSAFA last year scoring 10 goals in the process and playing a big part in the qualification to the Olympics. She was also a pivotal member of the Green Buffaloes Women’s side that has dominated the Zambian local seen in the last six years.

Mubanga on the other hand was the player of the tournament at the 2019 COSAFA Women’s Championship and also scored the winning goal in the qualification to the Olympics.

Nachula is expected to start while Mubanga may start from the bench as she has been struggling with a knock she picked up in training.

The match at the Estadio Pedro Sancho will kick off at 12:00hrs Central African time.
