HAIMBE ASKS CSOS TO PARTICIPATE IN LEGAL REFORMS

 

Justice Minister, MULAMBO HAIMBE has implored on civil society organisations to actively participate in the legal reforms being undertaken by government.

Mr. HAIMBE says this will ensure that government comes up with laws that are inclusive and enduring.

He reiterated government’s commitment to working with Civil Society Organisations as key partners in the governance process.

Mr. HAIMBE said this in LUSAKA today when a delegation from Transparency International Zambia -TIZ called on him.

Meanwhile, TIZ Executive Director, MAURICE NYAMBE, said his organization is already undertaking awareness campaigns to sensitise political parties and the general public on issues of good governance.
