HACHOOMBWA QUESTIONS PF POLICY ON EMPLOYING CADRES

By Patricia Banda

Two UPND Members have written to President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA to consider addressing Article 3 of the PF constitution that states that heads of public institutions and state owned Enterprises must be led by its members.

BEENE HACHOOMBWA and ALEX BWALYA have told ZNBC news in separate interviews that the clause is against the UPND Constitution.

Mr. HACHOOMBWA says the UPND Constitution demands that anyone who qualifies can occupy positions in any public institution and State Owned Enterprises.

Mr. HACHOOMBWA has since demanded that all positions held by heads of public service institutions and state owned enterprises employed during the ten years of PF rule must be re-advertised.

And Mr. BWALYA said the move will allow only those that are capable to return their jobs on merit.
