GRACE CHANDA MAKES FINAL 3

Wilson Mulinda – Copper Queens Striker GRACE CHANDA is among footballers shortlisted for the Best CAF Women’s Player of the Year Award

CHANDA has been shortlisted alongside AJARA NCHOUT NJOYA of Cameroon and ASISAT OSHOALA of Nigeria.

CHANDA captained Zambia to their first FIFA Women’s World Cup appearance at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scoring two goals and picking up two Woman of the Match awards in matches against Togo and South Africa.

Meanwhile, Coach BRUCE MWAPE has been nominated for the  Coach of the Year award, alongside DESIREE ELLIS of South Africa, JERRY TSHABALALA of Mamelodi Sundowns and REYNALD PEDROS of Morocco.

The Award Ceremony will be held in Rabat, Morocco tomorrow (July 21, 2022) at 21:00 hours.
