Grace Chanda looking forward to facing former team ZESCO Ndola Girls

Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Women’s Super League top goal scorer Grace Chanda says she is ready for tomorrow’s game when Red Arrows Women Football Club visits the Trade Fair Grounds to lock horns with ZESCO Ndola Girls in a rescheduled match week 10 with kick-off set at 15:00hrs.

The Copper Queens prolific striker told the ZamFoot Crew this morning shortly before departure for Ndola that she is looking forward to facing her former team and they are optimistic of collecting maximum points.

“We are ready for tomorrow’s game against ZESCO Ndola Girls. It will be very interesting to face my former team, I know it won’t be easy but am so sure we are going to win this match. Everyone in the team is in a high mood and looking forward to the game,” Grace Chanda said.

Chanda who is nicknamed Dangote scored a brace the past weekend when Arrows and YASA shared spoils in a 4-4 draw to take her total tally of goals to 16 in the league.

Chanda was the top goalscorer in the 2018 FAZ Women’s League Copperbelt Province season, she scored a remarkable and historical 86 goals in 26 games for the Electricity Supply Company-sponsored side.

ZESCO is the current log leaders in this inaugural Women’s Super League with 39 points from 17 games played while Arrows are on position 10 with 16 points from 8 games played.
