Govt will consult locals before implementing projects

By Hector Simfukwe-President Edgar Lungu says government will consult the people before implementing developmental projects in their areas.President Lungu says government will NOT impose projects because the people know what is best for them .The Head of state says this is why government has started by building hospitals and schools in most parts of the country because of the urgent need.President Lungu says government wants children to have access to decent education and health services especially for the poor in society .He says the PF will stick to the vision of late President Michael Sata who wanted all Zambia, including the poor to have access to quality health and education.President Lungu said this when he addressed the rally at FUBE Village which is located on the swamps of Lake Bangweulu in Chilubi Constituency.He said the people of Chilubi can not doubt the PF government because they have seen what the party has done in the area in the last eight years .And President Lungu has held a meeting with Sub-Chief Fube of Chilubi District.During the meeting the Chief thanked President Lungu for having been the First Head of State to visit the swamps on Lake Bangweulu.The traditional leader also thanked the President for building schools ,hospitals and telecomunication towers for his subjects.The Chief also asked President Lungu to send more teachers and extention officers to his area.The traditional leader said this through his representative Hasting Chanda.And in response , President Lungu said he will send the Minister of General Education and Agriculture to the area so that they can attend to the needs of the people.And Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya said government is in the process of building a mini hospitals in the area .He said the tender process has already started .
