GOVT TO IMPLEMENT EAST SOUTHERN AFRICA COMMITMENT

(ZANIS) Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO has assured that Zambia will implement the East Southern Africa (ESA) commitment on education, health and well-being for adolescents and young people.

Ms MASEBO says Zambia is particularly happy that the ministerial commitment for 2021 to 2030, promotes a comprehensive sexuality education framework.

Ms MASEBO was speaking during the Eastern and Southern Supporting adolescents and young people virtual summit in Lusaka today.

Ms MASEBO also said the government will support and equip the young people with skills and values that can empower them to realize their wellbeing and dignity.
