GOVT TO COVER FUNERAL BILL FOR CHINGOLA ACCIDENT VICTIMS

Government says it will take up funeral expenses of the five people of the same family who died in an accident in Chingola on Sunday.

Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit-DMMU- National Coordinator CHANDA KABWE has disclosed that this includes expenses on coffins, food and transport.

Mr. KABWE states that government through the DMMU will also take up expenses on other logistics that will be required at the funeral house.

He says government is saddened that lives of five people of the same family have been lost in a road accident.

Five members of the same family died on Sunday around 22:00 hours in a road accident that happened on the Chingola-Solwezi Road on the Copperbelt Province.
