GOVT RELEASES K280,000 FOR REPAIR OF SCHOOL COMPUTER LAB

Government has released 280,000 Kwacha to repair a computer laboratory at Situnga Primary School in Senanga, Western province.

The computer laboratory was damaged by whirlwind in 2021 and resulted in pupils at the school not having computer lessons.

Ministry of Local Government Director of Works, NICHOLAS LUBINDA says a contract for the project  has also been awarded to a private contractor.

School Headteacher, MUNALULA MAYUMBELO also noted that need for more infrastructure and desks to cater for the about 700 learners at the school.
