GOVT PLEDGE MARKET FOR FARMERS

Government has pledged to continue providing market for farmers  for all agricultural produce.

Mufulira District Commissioner, SABOI KABIKA says government recognises that agriculture marketing, market linkages and value addition are very important for agricultural development.

Speaking during the Agri-business and Agricultural input fair in Mufulira, Ms KABIKA said government values the role played by the private entities.

And Zambia National Farmers Union District Secretary, ROSE NCHINGA said farmers need to start collaborating with different companies using new technology in order to improve their yield and fight climate change.
