GOVT NOT SELLING MAIZE TO TANZANIA

(ZANIS) Government has dispelled rumours that it is selling maize to Tanzanians only at the expense of Zambians.

Minister of Information and Media, CHUSHI KASANDA, who is also Chief Government Spokesperson, has urged all Zambians interested in buying maize to go through the Food Reserve Agency -FRA.

Ms. KASANDA has also assured that the country is food secure, and that government through FRA is in the process of selling 282,000 by 50-kilogram bags of maize.

Mrs KASANDA said this when she inspected FRA sheds in Chisamba district of Central Province.
