Govt commits to creating jobs

ZANIS-President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says government is working out measures to improve the conditions of service for officers under the Zambia Correctional Service.

The Head of State says government is planning to introduce incentives such as the provision of Mortgages.

President HICHILEMA says this will allow the officers to retire in dignity and be able to look after their families.

He said this during the pass-out parade of cadets and warders at Nyango correctional staff training school in Kaoma district of Western province.

And President Hichilema said the continuous recruitment of officers by government in the security wings will improve service delivery needed by government.

Mr Hichilema has since reiterated his administrations’s commitment to job creation among its citizens in the country.

He said government appreciates the sacrifices that the defense force makes in ensuring that the country enjoys peace.
