Government is building two mini hospitals in Chinsali and Isoka districts in Muchinga Province.

The mini hospitals are in the highly populated areas of Musanya and Sasamweji.

In Isoka, the Mini Hospital is already complete and equiped.

The two mini hospitals were initially planned to be Covid 19 response centres.

Over eight million Kwacha has been spent on the two medical facilities.

The project is a community component of the 1.5 million Kwacha Chinsali- Nakonde road project.

Consultant Engineers, Civil Planning Group Resident Engineer DEWALD POTGIETER says Sasamweji Mini Hospital is completed, equipped and ready for handover to the Ministry of Health.

And RABBECCA LUKAVU, a mid wife at Sansamweji is happy that the health facility will now be able to provide improved maternal services to the community.

And CHILESHE SAMPA a registered nurse at Musanya rural Health centre said the mini hospital will come as a relief to the over eight thousand people that the facility has to carter for.
