Conlyde Luchanga made his Premier league debut with Lusaka Dynamos after switching from Mazabuka United in 2015 as a young teenager.

Luchanga ‘Golden Boy’ had a thunderous season for Elite In the same year banging important goals and easily made a name for himself with his attributes one of which is to dribble past defenders and score beautiful goals taking the Zambia Super League by storm. Luchanga who won the 2015 MTN/FAZ Young Player of the Year Award was also instrumental in helping Lusaka Dynamos survive relegation where he scored nine goals in his debut season in the top flight.

With that Fine form by Luchanga the then Chipolopolo Head Coach George Lwandamina Summoned Luchanga for the home game against Mozambique in the same year. , Luchanga stole News headline when he Graced the Chipolopolo debut coming from the bench to slot in a goal for the Copper-Bullets who later won by 3 goals in Ndola at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Unlucky Luchanga was hit with injuries while at Lusaka Dynamos which also affected his form making the talented forward have less game time. Lusaka Dynamos later loaned him for a Year to Hapoel Ranaana an Israel based team.

Another Chance was Tabled for Conlyde at Lusaka Dynamos after a deal to Power Dynamos failed off following his return from Israel. The 2017 U20 AFCON winner still struggled with his form at Lusaka Dynamos and was no longer converting chances into goals.

2019 seems to have come with a good promise for the striker who has reunited with his former coach Perry Mutapa at Forest Rangers.

Luchanga looks to have settled well in the Forest and has since scored 6 goals during the pre-season friendlies for the Ndola based side Fole Malembe. In the same week U23 Head Coach Beston Chambeshi Summoned the Young talented Striker for camp for local players ahead of the 2019 U23 AFCON qualifier against Congo Brazzaville and to score a brace in the first Game and later settled for a Hattrick in the second set of friendly matches against a Chawama select side in Lusaka at the Barcelona Acdaemy Sports Complex.

With Perry Mutapa proving to be a real gem in working with young stars Luchanga is expected to regain his form but the hard work needs to be put in for that to happen as quickly as possible. Others may argue that the work is already paying off with goals coming his way now and more frequently.

The belief that this is the time he can regain his 2015 form is very a high . Luchanga told the ZamFoot Crew that he will leave his goals to do the talking for him.

“Firstly I thank God For the talent rendered unto me, ahead of the 2019 season I will let goals do the taking for me. For now let Zambian soccer fans just witness what am yet to deliver once more,” he said.

What is remaining now is for the 2015 Young Footballer of the Year to Stand up and fight his way up to the Top. Forest Rangers will start their 2019/2020 Super League campaign away to Nkwazi.
