FREE EDUCATION BEARING FRUITS

Over Nine thousand five hundred pupils have been enrolled in Primary and Secondary School since the Introduction of free education in January this year.

And some Solwezi residents spoken to are happy with the free education policy adding that it has enabled vulnerable people access education.

JOSEPHINE KIMALASHA says the introduction of free education will increase literacy levels among members of the public.

Meanwhile, Solwezi District Education Board Secretary JONATHAN KAYUKA

told ZNBC News that the introduction of free education has given a chance to those that dropped out of school owing to financial challenges to return to class.
