FRA Increases maize selling points in Mazabuka

(ZANIS) The Food Reserve Agency -FRA has increased the number of selling points for maize in Mazabuka District from four to eight.

Mazabuka District Commissioner OLIVER MULOMBA says the move taken by FRA is meant to reduce on distances covered by community members to access cheap FRA maize.

Mr MULOMBA also confirmed that the district has enough maize stock for every one.

Meanwhile, Ministry of Agriculture Permanent Secretary YVONNE MPUNDU says government will address financial challenges that community members are facing in purchasing maize.
