Fisp distribution completed in Solwezi

The distribution of 6,700 farming inputs to the beneficiaries has been completed in Solwezi District.

Both Solwezi District Commissioner TICK MULOFWA and Solwezi District Agricultural Coordinator MUTINTA CHPENZI have confirmed in an interview saying all the inputs have been collected by farmers.

And a Farmer Input Support Programme (FSIP) beneficiary in Solwezi has urged government to consider giving farmers loans once they are weaned off from its support.

BRIGHTSON MUCHIMA who commended government for the continued support to the FSIP beneficiaries says he is ready to be weaned off the programme.

Mr. MUCHIMA says the loans will enable farmers to sustain their farming activities after graduating.

He was speaking in an interview with National Agricultural Information Services.
