Fight against corruption heightened – KANGWA

Secretary to the Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA says government has revised the National Policy on Anti-Corruption aimed at enhancing the fight against graft in the country.

Mr. KANGWA says the revised policy will soon be launched.

Speaking during the Launch of the Report of Evaluation of the Integrity Committee Programme 2023 in Lusaka, Mr. KANGWA said government is determined to ensure that corruption is reduced to the barest minimum level.

He said Government and stakeholders will work towards increasing awareness among other recommendations listed in the report.

Meanwhile, Anti-Corruption Commission-ACC, Deputy Director-General MONICA MWANSA said the 2023 Evaluation Report is timely.

Ms. MWANSA said the report will help address the various challenges faced by the Integrity Committees in the fight against corruption.

She expressed gratitude to the Germany Agency for International Corporation and the European Union for the financial support towards the evaluation exercise.
