FAZ Women’s League: 2021/2022 final moved to Sunset Stadium

The final for the 2021/2022 Women’s national League has been moved to Sunset Stadium.

The final was scheduled for Edwin Imboela Stadium on Saturday afternoon with kick off at 15:00hrs but has since been moved to Sunset Stadium with date and time remaining the same.

The Women’s League champion will be crowned tomorrow when Green Buffaloes take on YASA Queens in an epic final.

The match will be streamed live on the FAZ Facebook Page.

To progress to the finals, Green Buffaloes were unbeaten in 16 matches played in Zone A, winning 15 games and drawing one to end the league on 46 points.

Zone B side YASA won 11, drew three and lost two to finish on 36 points, five clear of second placed Red Arrows.

Green Buffaloes will represent the country at the COSAFA Women’s Champions League having won the league last year.
