Napsa Stars boss Muhammed Fathi has set his sights on finishing in the top four brackets which will guarantee his side Continental football for the 2020/2021 season.

Fathi believes his team has progressed well from surviving relegation in 2018 to a respectable fifth-place finish in the transitional season. He is confident the Pensioners will finish in top four at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

“I think the teams are playing well and they have helped us to prepare well. The teams are well organized. We targeting to finish in the continental Zone this coming season. We try to have a very good 2019/2020 season and finish in the continental zone,” Fathi told the ZamFoot Crew after concluding his two weeks preseason training camp in Livingstone.

“We came from surviving relegation in 2018, In the transitional league we were unlucky as we drew some games at the last minute and finished on number five so there is progression so we can finish in top four this season.”

Napsa spent the past two weeks in Livingstone working mainly on the physical condition of the players. The pensioners player four practicing matches in Livingstone winning two and drawing two.

A number of new players were part of the tour as they look to beef up the squad ahead of the new season. Among those spotted (no confirmation from the club yet) include Marvin Jere, Musonda Kapembwa, Isaac Simbuwa, and Godfrey Chabanga.
