Farmers Told Not to Sell All their Produce

By Fortune Malata

The Food Reserve Agency -FRA- has urged farmers not to sell all their produce.

FRA Public Relations Coordinator JOHN CHIPANDWE says the country’s food security starts at household level and that farmers need to reserve some of produce for the household.

Mr. CHIPANDWE says as farmers harvest their crops they must consider stocking enough varieties for domestic future consumption.

Speaking in an interview, Mr. CHIPANDWE said the agency and private buyers must target the excess production.
