FAO LAUNCHES COUNTRY FRAMEWORK

The Food and Agriculture Organisation -FAO- has launched the Country Programming Framework for Zambia, for the period 2023-2027.

Agriculture Minister, REUBEN MTOLO, who launched the framework in Lusaka, has commended FAO for the continued technical support to government in the area of agriculture and the related sectors.

Mr MTOLO says besides other significant challenges posing a serious threat on food security, such as COVID-19, there is also infestation of pets on crop fields.

And FAO Zambia Country Representative, SUZE FILIPPINI says the organisation remains committed and focused in working with government to support and foster development in agriculture and the related sectors.
